Description

This is a white tailed buck in one of Austin, Texas residential areas. His velvet covered antlers are so perfect; they almost don't look real. The deer in the neighborhood are not very afraid of people, so I was able to capture a close up. Bucks are hunted in Texas, but not in residential areas. They roam freely from one person's property to the next and enjoy eating grass and flowers along the way.
